Trained at Naropa University in the Wilderness Therapy program, Amy blends her belief in the healing power of the outdoors with a grounded and skillful therapeutic presence. She has specialized training in grief and loss, nature-based psychotherapy and in body-centered attachment therapy. She is a Wilderness First Responder and has years of experience guiding and leading groups in the wilderness. When she was 21, her father died. His journey towards death brought Amy on a journey that changed her life. Her passion now is to give back to people who have experienced a similarly profound loss. |

Christi Strickland, MA, is a wilderness rites of passage guide who has been bringing individuals and groups into deeper relationship with the natural world for over ten years, and has been tracking the healing and heart-awakening mysteries of wilderness for as longs as she can remember. She is also a Grief Counselor for HospiceCare of Boulder and Broomfield, working with children, adolescents and adults. Her simple ease in and love for the natural world has been described as contagious, and her work with groups as skilled and delightful. She brings into all of her work a profound trust in the process of life’s unfolding. |
